When you turn the key to the on position (not start), do you hear the pump turn on?

I opened the supply line to the TB. Then turned on the ignition switch to run, the pump pushed gas through the fuel line. I dont think its the filter, but no gas seems to be in the TB. Do they have filters in addition to the in-line filter on the frame? The car ran fine but as I was driving allong it quit never to start again, without priming.

You want to measure the pressure of the fuel lines. On a CFI that should be 9-13 psi. You can use a temp fuel gauge between the 2 Tb's.
Just because you have fuel coming out doesn't mean you have the correct pressure.
The only filter on the system is that one on the frame rail.
