84 Corvette popping through throttle bodies

I have an 84 Corvette and a few months back it just started to back fire after looking and looking i realized that the loud poping sound was coming out of my intake through my throtle bodies not through my exaust. Has any one ever had this happen before and where should i look i dont even know where to start. I know that the motor is no more than 2 yrs old and when it was built i was missing most of the components to the emisions control i had the ends of what was left blocked off and it worked fine until a few months ago. Oh and also it only starts to make the noise after the temp gets to 160deg or higher.

First guess would be a sticking intake valve, given the fact that this only happens at 160*F or above.

I would check the timing with a timing light and see if it still on the mark.

Could be alot of things start with easy things [plugs,plug wires etc.] almost sounds like a wiped cam,but you say it only happens when it warms up.hope this helps.

Put a vacuum gauge to it. That can tell a lot.
