I need help !
over the weekend my transmission started slipping and today I drove the car and after about 10 miles of driving it got so bad that when I accelerate it revs up and gradually starts picking up speed. By the way it's an 85 4+3. I also notice a burning smell and looked under the car and it looked like oil on the bottom of the oil pan, not very much though. A neighbor says it sounds like the rear main seal leaking onto the clutch and causing it to slip. Me being an idiot when it comes to the mechanical part of a car I thought I would check with the guys on the forum> Thanks
