Installing headers on an LT4??

Also would it be better to do that at the same time as the cat-back system?
Thanks Eric J.
What kind of headers are you referring too? long tube headers, shorty headers.. emissions or no emissions... shorties are a bolt on, long tube headers will generally require some cutting and modifications to the exhaust system be it stock or aftermarket.. note long tube headers cannot utilize the stock catalytic converter so if your in an emissions strict area you may need to purchase a smaller bullet style catalytic converter to fit the system. again with shorties, they should be a direct bolt on and can be done at home.. if you have a lift, the job will be a snap.. welding will be required in most cases so be prepared for this as well.. good luck,

I just put TPIS longtubes on my 94, wasn't to bad. I did it on the garage floor with the car on jack stands. You would have to modify your exhaust to run them like Chris said. Everything bolted right back up and used the stock mainfold bolts. I did have to grind on 2 brackets to get them to clear the bigger tubes. But a dremel made it a 5 min job.
The shorties hook right back up to your stock exhaust and convertors.
So it just depends on emissions and what you're looking for.
