headlight dimmer switch replacement 93
The dimmer switch on my 1993 coupe is stuck in the high beam mode. Any help on how to fix or replace it would be greatly appreciated.

you will need to disco the battery, for the air bag, you need a wheel puller, plate compressor... after this for a newbie... it will be time consuming and tedious... you will need to route the wires... through the column channel... the high beam rod will not be fun again your first time... I would get a pic from the web or manual.. I can scan one in tomorrow... im sure someone will get you one quicker

If the 93 is like the 95, the actual dimmer switch isn't in the steering column, it is behind the panel below the steering wheel. There is a long rod that runs down the column from the lever to the switch. If you are lucky, the rod came unseated from the switch. If you are not so lucky, a certain plastic part (the switch rod actuator) either broke or fell out of the steering column. Once again, that is if the 93 is like the 95.
