I know its left O2 sensor reading lean. the O2 sensors are new as of 3 years ago. the check engine light will only come on after I drive it for about 15-20 miles while its hot out. after the light comes on I can smell exhaust and unburnt fuel. the person I got the scanner tool from said I have a vacuum leak on the left side. I checked everything and did not see anything out of the norm
Check your wires to this O2 sensor. If there is oil...it will contaminate the readings giving a false code 44 and since the sensor is reading actual as something else, it will change your fuel mixture. The oil works it way past the weatherpak connector and onto the wires which changes the resistance being registered by the sensor. Solution...clean the wires and replace the sensor.

thanks I looked at everything and it was coated with oil. so i took some break clean and cleaned both connectors then used a electrical cleaner then used dielectric grease. so hopefully that helped
