Default Transmission Trouble

My 1995 corvette is POURING transmission fluid. Its been sitting about 3 or 4 months now and i noticed that all the places that it was parked in the driveway have spots where it was leaking tranny fluid (i just noticed this today). Well i drove it to town and when i got to my destination i notice some smoke coming from the hood. i walked around to the other side of the car and it had already lost about 3 or 4 quarts from being parked there about 10 min. so i hauled her home and got her in the garage and i pulled the exaust and the starter and the torque converter sheild. The torque converter is dry and so is the inside of the bell housing. The leak appears to be coming from the the corner where the dipstick tube is but i cant seem to find anything that would make it leak that bad. it must be under pressure whereever its coming from because it got all over everything on that side of the car. Any ideas what i should do? i dont have much experience with automatic transmissions and im not sure what could cause this. Help!

Could be the dipstick tube grommet, or the lines or fittings for the oil cooler to the rear of the dipstick tube, or your pan gasket.

its not the oil cooler lines they are also dry. and if its the tube grommet or pan gasket how is it able to get so much fluid past it? as much fluid as its losing it would seem that the leak would be obvious. i would put more fluid in it and watch it but it only does it when its running and i have the starter and exaust of it now.

Theres a vent tube at the top of the transmission. should this be kinked off?
