Question about front spoiler - NEED PICS!
My '87's been missing the middle part of the front spoiler since I've got it, and the other two parts are pretty beat up. I bought a replacement for them, a three piece set, but I can't figure out how the middle part of the spoiler attaches. There is some broken pieces down there, so I think I might be missing something else. What I really need is a picture of someone's front spoiler from underneath that is not broken so I can see how to attach it. I've searched the forums and enternet for pics, but couldn't find one. Thanks in advance!!

The lower radiator baffle scoop has holes along the front edge of it to accept the center spoiler piece with a metal reinforcement retainer strip.
What happenes is when the center spoiler get's ripped off by road debris it takes the front edge of the radiator baffle scoop that had the mounting holes clean off with it. So now you have to replace the lower radiator baffle to be able to mount the center spoiler piece again usually.
If you don't see any mounting holes on the front edge of the lower radiator baffle scoop that must be what has happened. I too ordered a 3 piece kit and when I went to mount it I didn't have the center mounting holes for the center piece. F**K!
Had to go buy the lower radiator baffle at the dealer for $100.

i cant complain, ive ripped the cooling ducts a few times, but im on air ride, so i dont cruise that low(as my pic) but usually about the same as you, 2- 2 1/2 inches from the ground and just air it up as needed for driveways/crappy roads ect. LSC-looks GOOD!

Looks like they hit something on the road just like I did. There was a chunk of tire on the freeway and I had traffic on both sides of me. I had to go over it I could not go around it.
The car was too low to clear it so the center spoiler piece got ripped clean off and took the front edge of the radiator baffle that has the bolt holes with it. So now I have to replace the baffle again.
If you look on ebay though be cautious. I've seen guys selling these baffles as "no damage" but the front edge with the bolt holes is missing. They sometimes tear so cleanly that they would not know it was broken.
