GM recommends replacing the washers any/every time you replace the rear wheel bearings.
Here's the kicker I just found out today. These washers are a DELAER ONLY item. There are NO aftermarket replacements. Wait, it gets better...
Went to the dealer today to order some and was notified that these washers are (and have been for a while now) DISCONTINUED by GM.

There's only a limited supply left, scattered throughout a few GM parts warehouses across the US and none here in Canada.

I had to "special order" my washers earlier today, the guy at the counter made me cough up $30+ up front and was told that I'd be notified if they could even get a hold of them, sometime next week. If they can't get any, they'll refund my money. Swell.

So basically, I won't even know if they can get a hold of them from somewhere in the US, until next week.

The part number is 14076924. According to GMpartsDirect.com, they still have some in stock but of coarse, they don't ship to Canada so I'm out of luck on that one.
If I were you, I'd order a set (or two) since these are in such short supply. Never hurts to have a stash of smaller, discontinued items in your tool chest, just in case you might need them one day. I say order new ones while there's still a few left. They ain't making them anymore.
