Muffler
Thanks!!
Then either buy from them and install yourself or go to a muffler shop.

Thanks for the links. I like what I see at Ecklers for $180, true dual outlet mufflers, which say they will not resonate. Are these truly stock quality and sound?
Should I cancel my Corsa order? I do not need the premium mufflers if these are good enough.

Right now, MidAmerica says these are delayed, Ecklers does not say anything, but I have heard a few stories where they were quite late in shipping. Corvette Central prices are a little higher. Are these made by the same company?

Hope you can take advantage and save some money. With the 15% off, you could maybe afford a more premium choice. They do carry a nice wide selection of Magnaflows.
Here's a link to their performance muffler listing for an 89:

Second, the drone problem which I read makes the 6th gear (lugging) impossible. I notice the same problem even in smaller gears when I go slowly up a narrow street etc. My car sounds like a military truck/tank. It really sounds like old gas engine Chevy trucks from the 60s, which it should with the muffler shop built mufflers.
I need the sixth gear, and I may want to drive on sixth at speeds ranging from 50mph-65mph, with slight inclines at times on the highway and do city driving. I will pay about $10/gallon gas.
Magnaflows can be had from Advance, $550-%20=$440 or something. Still, I will try Corsa. I like the engineering of the Corsa. I understand that L98 cars are severely restricted from the exhaust side. I also ordered Magnaflow hi flo cat from Advance, I do not think I need a cat, but just in case.-) Right now, I am debating if I should get Magnaflow Y tubes for $260....

BTW, why would you ever think you would need to replace aluminum coated mufflers every 2 years. I have had mine 5 years and they look great. The originals lasted 18 years and weren't rusted out.
You must be reading some BS advertising.
You can get no drone alumnum coated mufflers at Corvette Central for $220, but hey, to each his own.
