Default Knock sensor location

Where are the knock sensors on my 1992 corvette. I was advised to take them out in order to do a full coolant flush. Can anyone help me out. Thanks.

Passenger side is located just in front of starter, if there is one on drivers side it would be in same position on block just on drivers side I believe. I have a L98which just has the one knock sensor on passenger side. Just look for a wire running to the block

Just above the oil pan rail, in front of the starter.

Onb a L98, the driver's side will either have a square headed plug or a fitting for the oil cooler.

They are not readily viewable on the 92 LT1 because they have little metal shields over them! You have to pull the shields to get to them.
IIRC look at the engine where the two exhaust ports are side by side.
Just below you should see the shield for that side. Remove the shield and you should see the knock sensor.

Most years of L98 cars should have a shield blocking the view/path to the sensor as well.
