My Corvette "Quirks"?
1. Dash- the right hand side works just fine, the tachometer is easily seen and looks great. the left hand side however is extremely dim, so dim u can barely see it. anyone have any ideas?
2.the clock- it keeps acurate time but sometimes u can't see what that time is, according to the current owner, sometimes it displays the time in hyroglyphics(however u spell that?).
3.Weatherstripping_ i know this isn't that bigga deal but if someone has an estimate on the cost that would be great. the weatherstripping around the windshield leaks when it rains hard, luckily its been stored in a garage.
4. The shocks that open the rear hatch are shot another small thing for a car 17 years old but again if anyone has any estimates.
5. Now the most important part- when driven on the highway at speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour :) the check engine light comes on. slowing down for a small amount of time will shut the light off. He said at times it will even shut off on the off ramp so it doesn't take long. any ideas, he said its not overheating or atleast the gauge reads a normal tempature. any ideas.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to read this and answer my novice questions.

1. Dash-replace the bulbs, go ahead and replace all 4 of them, with Sylvania 882s
3.Weatherstripping-very expensive last i checked, depends on where its needed but the front windshield piece is a couple hundred
4. The shocks that open the rear hatch should be somethin like $50 each.
5. sounds like a code 32, which is the EGR, mine does it too. You dont have to worry too much about it, but eventually you may have to replace the EGR solenoid.
