the relay -or its wiring- may have been out of circuit a long time. dislodging the sensor plug revealed it. that expLains why it only ran when rails were filled by jumper to G, also why they both "failed" at same time.
but, he said after connecting the plug, he heard the FP prime when he turned key? if I follow it, the oil sensor would not prime the FP until engine is turning.
OR, HE PULLED/CHANGED SOMETHING NEAR THE RELAY WHILE WORKING ON THE OIL SENSOR (NEVER CHANGED ANYTHING) I don't know enough to change anything.
the test would be to see if the FP primes today when key is turned on.
Yes it primed today just like it did before the problem. I've moved it several times since yesterday and when you hit the key you hear the pump instantly. Time will tell. Thank you all for the replies. Wouldn't have made it without the forum. If you guys want any info on what i did or didn't do just PM me and i'll be glad to reply. Maybe everyone can learn a little from this thread. I know i did.

didn't mean you tried to rearrange or change anything, dude. we can change something by slamming the hood, never know it. sometimes, we can pull a connector off...he hee.

Didn't mean that reply to be harsh in any way. Just seemed to come out a little direct. Pull a connector, guess i did. God knows what else i did to cause that problem. Time will tell. You know the sayin. ($hit happens) If you ever travel route 17 in ny and see a white coupe along side the road stop and jiggle some wires for me I also have another thread going in (general) Had to start a thread to lighten things up a bit (WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST BUILD)
