Default master cylinder

hey guys just curious i just put a 383 in my 88 and because of the low vacume (big cam) my brakes arnt what they were, so instead of getting a vacume canister i was wondering if someone makes a master cylinder without a powerbooster that would work on my vette thank you

Another option is the hydroboost setup like what was used on the Turbo Regals and on 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks.

There is a steel booster available thats bigger. Your brakes are the same, its the level of assit that you get from the booster. Even a low vac should help a bunch. A vac can with a check valve ain;t a big deal.
I've driven mine without a booster for several weeks, and although very tough in the beginning,. you get used to pushing a bit harder. Whats funny is the first few stops with a new booster

I have a huge cam in one of my vettes too. 1 pump then zero brakes. Anyone have any experience with something like this. Pricy I know, but never have to worry again!

The can didn't work that great for me. Got a couple of extra pumps but in traffic it doesnt work well.

I have one in my 86 becuse at idle I had 10 inch of vac. It work fine but, if I had to do it again, I would go with a Hydrobooster just because I wonder sometimes about the electric motor stop working when I need it.
