L98 Water pump replacement question......
for those of you who have done this: where did you get a heater hose fitting long enough to clear the ac bracket that mounts to the water pump studs? Everything i find at the autoparts store is too short. My old one wouldnt come out of the old water pump....

I just did this replacement on my 85...don't know if it's totally the same or if the part is what I'm thinking of, but it it's the metal tube out of the water pump, it's threaded and all you do is unthread from the old water pump and apply to the new. Is it something different? :cheers:

heh i forgot im kinda posting after the fact, finally at the 5th autoparts store i went to, i found the one that i needed, just this morning actually.
