First I want to thank Mseven for his help today via cell phone to help me dial in the AFR. Its looking real good.

Numbers I won't post yet because I believe them to be inaccurate. and here's why.

1) Dyno is a Dynocom
2)He messed around for an hour on his wideband...he couldn't get it to work right
3)The ebrake on the dyno wasn't working correctly either... it kept smoking
4)He claims to have pulled a lot of cars but I really felt this is all kinda new to him
5)Everytime I've been on a dyno that have connected up the computers tach to mine but that didn't happen today. So how was he getting my RPM numbers??
6)Everytime I've been on a dyno they start the pull at about 65mph and run to about 130-140... he would start at 45 mph and no sooner did he get it into PE mode, some light on his end would flash and he would shut it down. According to my datalogs he was shutting it down at 4500 RPM. WTF?? The car isn't even awake yet.
I was disappointed with his approach and experience, but maybe he was just afraid of hurting my new motor. I really don't know.

Bottom line is at least with my datalogs and Msevens experience we were able to dial in the AFR, so that was a plus.

I'm not familar with a Dynocom dyno. Is that a loaded dyno or like the usual DynoJet dyno? If it is not a loaded dyno I'd really recommend you find one and get it tuned there. I had my '92 with its new LS3 Hot Cam tuned at a shop here in Scottsdale that uses a Dyno Dynamics loaded dyno. Their dyno could even tune a 4WD car. The results they can get on that type of Dyno are amazing. Just a suggestion.

Forget the dyno, go straight to the track. I've never had my car on a dyno. Just use a wideband, tach and timeslips.

It sure sounded like they shut it down just as the car started to pick up speed. This is what my tune looked and sound like at Wong's Performance up in Vancouver Washington.

He did shut it down early. (Post #6)...
Some light would flash on his computer screen so he'd shut it down.

Been trying to get to a test and tune day at the track but all the spots have been filled lately.

Did you have to pay for that? Did he ever explain what the light meant?

How could you get AFR dialed in w/o being able to run it thru all rpms in PE mode?

Not really sure what his little flashing light was, but he's telling me I have some slippage in my TC. He full of BS though. That is working fine with no problems. I think there was something going on with his Ebrake on the dyno. But it was just easier to blame the car.

I thought I answered the question already about dialing in the AFR on post #6, but thats ok.
Between using his WB,WB on the car and my datalogs we were able to put me at a steady 12.6 thru almost 5500. Which is a nice number to have. Now that makes me feel good when going up to the higher RPM's HSR pulls to 6500 according to holley. That will be easy to adjust when the time comes. I did have on run according to my datalogs where it hit the 5500 mark.
