I have a 1985 corvette that was running fine until one day it wouldnt start and I figured out that it was bad spark plugs. So I replaced the plugs and the wires and now it will start but then die within two seconds. Ive tried everything I can think of. I checked my TPS voltage, the MAF, the fuel pressure. Any help would be appreciated.

Have the same problem, found if I push on the connection plug of the VAT Module it starts thought I had it fixed but problem came back, I hope the connection of the wire that sends the 5 volt signal to the ecm to pulse injectors is not making contact on mine, hopfully not a circuit board problem, I'm not that good at soldering.
when you changed the plug wires did you accidently unplug wires from the ignition control module it sends signal to ecm to tell it when to fire the injectors
To test for pulse I plugged a test light into the end of the injector harness and when cranking it didn't blink at all. And I believe it is but I'm going to double check to make sure that I have good connections everywhere.
A noid light is usually used to check for pulse. I don't think a regular test light can be conclusive, although I have never tried since I have an Actron fuel injector and harness tester.
