the wife keeps telling me i need to go to work. she needs money
Cars....Wife?? Cars...Wife.....? I did the wife delete mod several years ago. Seemed to solve my problem. Now I have a girlfriend who thinks she's a wife.........Time to start modding again I fear. I was out rubbing all over the Impala a couple days ago and she came out and said..., "It's either going to be me or the cars." I'll sure miss her but I'll find another.

Besides, if SHE needs the money, SHE can go get some. Women are allowed to work in our free society. Suffrage was a long time ago. All we need is car and beer and Taco Bell money. Hell, they need all kinds of things.

Oops, I didn't know that. Now things are changed since she's the one buying the parts beer and food. I think they get mad when you ask them to get another job so the can support your habits better.....so, don't do that. Better just hurry up, get it done and go to work.

i want to have it finished end of October. we have an annual trip to El Mirage SCTA has the speed trials. i want to drive the datsun although i wont be able to run it in the event because there are a couple rules holding me back. its not a daily driver but it does get a lot of street use. i can go to Bonneville, the Mohave mile and the drag strip. mostly i want to do auto cross.

i thought about side pipes how do they work out on your Z. do your wheel get dirty from the exhaust? my headers were about the biggest pita to fab. The headers i bought had 8" or 9" from the shortest one to the longest one. i got all tubes with in about 1" in length. if i remember right they are 1 5/8 by about 31".

the problem is once i weld the fender flares in place it would be a major job to lower them. with on registration, lights, windshield or seat belts to name a few. i live in the country so i have took it for a drive a couple times. the fix-it ticket aren't so bad but the seat belt tickets are not cheep. seat belts cant go in until i do the roll cage. i have non opp now because i don't want to pay insurance and reg. when it's taking os long to finish this project. the wife keeps telling me i need to go to work. she needs money
Have you ever heard of CLECO fasteners? If not Google them, I used them to build my Pro Street Chevelle, they are a very handy little item.

Start repairing cars & trucks for a living like I do.

Feed the kids & wife 1st.

Otherwise all women around the world will kick the living chit out of you somehow.

Yes its true.

Hotrods , Vettes, TA's and other toys come 2nd.

Have to get a job soon yourself.

I was self employed 2005 to 2007.

It was fun.
When work was there.
No work sucked badly.
I repaired everything already...........

No fun going hungry.

No, Wheels are fine. The only problem with them is they get HOT. If you have to wear shorts and you forget that they're there your skin will stick to them and leave your leg. About 8 square inches worth. That will only be once because as they say, experience is the best teacher.
