targa top bolt

Does anyone know where to get replacement targa top bolts? Are they the same as any boldt you find in a hardware store? What size are the bolts used in an 89 vette? Thanks!

they are available from your local chevy dealer. don't know the part number off hand, but they'll look it up on the computer. bought a couple about 6 months ago. they are not quite the same as hardware store bolts - they are metric w/ torx head. while you're at it, replace the plastic type bushing (holds in the bolt, making it captive). hope this helps -
