Any SBC mech pump will fit the block but whether it clears the ears on the crossmember is a different story
The hole for the pump pushrod may not be drilled on some blocks that originally came with injection even though the pump mounting pad is cast and holes tapped for pump
............ You might check into an electric in-tank fuel pump from an '84 with the throttle body injection ... I believe they run at around 15psi ... you would need to regulate that down to 5-7psi but it would be easy enough to do ...................
When I switched to a carb on my 1986, I got a Holley pre-set regulator with a return line. Then some 3/8" braided fuel line and plumbed it all up. That, plus a HEI distributor from an early chevy. Used the stock high pressure fuel pump.
Easy swap.
Only problem you may have like I did, it fuel percolation (vapor lock) on hot days in the carb. I'm going to run an override to the fuel pump so I can run it for 10 seconds or so on hot days to re-fill the bowls, and circulate the hottest fuel back to the tank.

Good Luck
I had the same perculation problem and had to do this...
It's not real good for the motor to have drink raw fuel over and over.
