Default Need AC advise

Got a problem with my AC in the 92 LT1. The air blows cold for about 30 seconds then blows hot for about 10 seconds (hotter than ambient). While this is going on the fan remains at the same level although it sounds like the air is getting diverted (kinda like pressure is building up), but it isn’t coming out at the windshield or the feet. Have checked the freon level, it is good. The compressor in cycling as normal. There are no codes using the in-car up and down fan buttons or with an ALDL Killbrew analyzer. This happens with AUTO, RECIRC or BILEVEL and vent. Additionally the green light under the AUTO button some times dims.

I agree, but after a trip to the west coast over the weekend, during which the air conditioner and clutch went up in a screeching ball of smoke...I now have a replacement issue. Needless to say I won't see the guy who said the freon is OK. Thanks for the feedback.
