I bought a 1994 C4 corvette LT1 about 3 weeks ago. As I was fixing the radio I discovered that 3 bulbs were pulled out of the center console. ASR service, ABS service, and the airbag light.
When you first turn on the car the airbag light flashes, I think 3 times, and then remains sold the whole time.
I did some research on the forum and pulled all the codes. However I am not able to find what the definitions for each code are in the A category. Please help. I do know the horn button does not work as well but the horns do.... The are bags are both in tacked.
I am a college student studying mechanical engineering, so I know a little of the technical lingo. Thank you for any help. Oh and I don't have the manuals.
Also I got my A/C to work, however it only blows on the feet and window defroster area. I researched on the forum and they said that the vents direction is controlled by a vacuum pump that is also connected to the engines vacuum lines. Where is this vacuum pump located and where are the locations I should check for vacuum leaks. Please provide pics if possible. Thanks everybody.

Yes it was a type-O, should be C12.
It is not a pump, it is a 3 hose check valve under the plastic cover on the right side of the engine. Small in size, look for cracks and breakage on it.
PROM/EEPROM stand for Programmable Read Only Memory and Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory. It's what controls your motor in the Engine Control Module. 52 and 51 are more than likely related. I'm guessing that a cylinder isn't firing completely, the timing is off, or the ECM thinks the timing is off.
sorry, first time at something like this so I don't know what I'm doing. vett seems to stall once warmed to normal operating temps. using a jumper from 4 to 12 I get codes c12, h16, h33, h36, and h42. also get them with the scan tool but that seems to work kind of fishy. got this car last year took it and a trip to Texas from Nebraska and back ran great started it up a few time on nice days during winter for drive never in bad weather. spring drive 50 miles and died like key shout off. hard time starting back up made it back home no problems. now don't leave town with it. Still doing the same thing if it don't start I leave it for a while will start back up like nothing wrong and make it home. have checked in dark for sparks nothing, battery volts is 14.1,map sensor volts 1.13,mass air flow 11gr/sec, this stalling seems to happen at a temp around 200-210ish. also sometimes when dies with key not touched noises from under hood like fuel injectors clicking, air pump going on and off and something between firewall makes noises. thinking maybe PCM or optispark but I not sure and don't have cash to guess on elimination. any help please
optispark could be throwing these other codes? and where and what brand would be good one to purchase. have u ever done this looks like a tight spot to get balancer off not much room this might be over my head, but cash is an issue so I better learn. will the opti sometime just quit altogether? car has 74,000 and don't look like its ever been replaced. thanks
