My pump pressure drops to zero in 30 seconds and my car runs perfectly and starts instantly. Sorry for the buzz kill on your solution.
I have learned to use a scantool in the past and get the answer without guessing.
I stated the scantool results earlier in the thread. There were none. The fuel pressure did not wait 30 seconds to drop, it dropped immediately within the span of a second after pump shut off. Others diagnosed the problem perfectly from the symptoms. I fully expect no more vapor lock after installing the new fuel regulator. I have used my autoxray 6000 on many occasions. Especially for C4 and C6 diagnostics. I haven't needed it as much with the great DIC on my C5.

Again, hypotheticals will not solve your problem. A systematic diagnostic approach will. Vapor lock is highly unlikely. Fuel filter, coil, ICM or fuel pump would be a good start.
