4 new rotors, new stainless steel brake lines, hawk hps pads and 4 completly rebuilt calipers.... front brakes work great, left rear brake works great but the right rear brake barely works... Why is that? if i change the rear bias springs in the master cylinder would that fix my problem?
I know i could have a clog but i have no trouble pulling fluid through the right rear brake,,, so i dont think i have a clog. (use a metal mighty vac)
i know alot of folks in the C4 section dont care for me but hey im a corvette owner in need of help and i help those in need when i can...
Did you have this problem before your replaced all of those parts? Not sure what year you have but certain years have ABS brakes, the ABS system could be the culprit.
Could be the abs. You can swap calipers left to right, but if it did this before the rebuilt calipers, it has to be the abs unit. Fluid flows out during bleeding so it doesn't sound like a plugged hose.
Couldn't it be a weak rear bias spring, or would a weak rear bias spring cause both rear brakes to fail to operate properly? How can I fix it if it is the abs?
I had this same problem happen. New rotors, HPS pads etc. The problem was one of the HPS pads insulator/anti break squeal pads was slightly bent and it caused the pads to not be able to properly squeeze down on the rotor.

swapped pads with some others i had,,, problem still remains
Okay, then have it bled professionally.
Also, verify the pads are on the correct side as there are inside and outside pads.
yep pads are installed correctly. I know how to properly bleed the brakes and the brake system... i do not take my care to anyone but me but thank you for the advice,,,,, thats why im on this forum to learn, troubleshoot ect....

I bled my brakes via gravity, vacuum, and even a phoenix systems pusher. None worked. I even excersized the ABS. I hate taking my Vette in, but I trusted the guy that does my alignments, and he bled them. They work significantly better. He uses the kind that goes on the master cylinder and flushes out through the bleed holes. So, bleeding for me is done via someone who knows more, and does it daily. C4's are stubborn.
I say the right rear caliper wasnt built right, if all has been done as you said, and pads are on right.
