Default optisparkechtomy part 2

While working on the wires and plugs..not the easiest but not too hard..well passenger side done..the #8 is a mother but got it with a swivel and a thin small head wratchet...and you do have to remove the wire loom brackets...the opti arrived. Got it from Corvette Central and the way they described it ..sounded like one built by Petris..and it was..same one written about in corvette fever mag..it looks like a delco with an MSD cap..well the cap is red but does not say MSD on it..has all the venting lines hooked up..opened it up to loctite the rotor screws and am glad I did..they weren't as tigh as I would have liked..aslo loctited the cover screws..put in the new seals, water pump one with the nifty tool you can get for it off ebay..looks like a big aluminum bullit...raining now so i had to stop...opened up the old opti, it looked original, couldn't see anything wrong with it but the bearing was choppy so that might have been the prob..waiting for my pics of the new opti to make it to my email so I can post them...
Oh Corvette Central sells the opti for $469.00 Petris..for $399.00 but I just didn't feel like sending it back..and Petris doesn't answer their phone..haven't tried too many times but C Central does..I am going to keep trying Petris to see if they will honor thier lifetime warranty or not because I bought it from CC...
