Simply put, you gotta get more air in, more air out, and do it faster.

More air in = Intake upgrades
More air out = Exhaust upgrades
Do it faster= Gears

The parasitic loss upgrades will (if any real improvement) happen if you can get the engine spinning fast enough to take advantage of it.

Just gears will make it run "out of breath" with the L98 intake at about 4500 RPM's faster. But it will make a difference.

Good luck.

IDK,Jack, last time I was down at the track I was launching at 4500RPM on street tires at 23psi, and with some slight clutch slippage dead hooking. Same 60 foot time. Gotta launch harder...

To the OP, good news is if you can trap 100MPH you can run high 13's. My first run ever in my LT1 ZF6 was a 13.88 at like 100.69, with a 2.28 60.

This hot/humid air does not help at all. If your trap speeds are up your making more HP, but like other posters said, we need to compare conditions and time slips. FYI, given your gearing and auto trans, I think 14.07 is not too shabby.
