Hi Guys I bought an 88 Vert with 20K mile a few weeks ago I also have a 84 that i have done a lot of work to. The 88 is all original down to the tires. I changed the tires and all the fluids and gave it a tune up and it runs like its brand new. The brakes do not seem to have the stopping power that my 84 has it almost feels like i am not getting any power assist any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

If you have to use a lot of effort to make the brake pedal go down, then you're probably going to need a new power brake booster. If you can depress the pedal easily, but the car won't seem to stop quickly, you may need to bleed your brakes, but probably need new pads and rotors. If you seem to have a lot of pad material left, they may be glazed over.
