[HELP] taking off rotor
ok Im trying to get my rotor off my car, I got the caliper off easily. Now the rotor Im having problems. I thought it should just slide off after you get the caliper off, am I wrong?

Just did this one this week,installed new brakes and 1 new roter, as stated above gently whack the back with a soft hammer, if front roter,emery the hub to get off all residue and a little wd 40 on hub helps, took about 15 minutes but it will come off. :jester :jester :jester :jester :jester

rubber mallet???? you guys sometimes scare me?
wouldn't the rear rotors require some other disassembly?
i guess you all assumed he was talking about the front?!?!?!?! :crazy:
