8.5 vs 9.5 Wheels
I know that this is some kind of measurement for the wheels, but my questions is how do you determine whether the wheel is a 8.5 or 9.5?????
Is it printed on the inside of the wheel, or is it a measurement that I have to make?????

you can measure the width of the rim, and it should be stamped somewhere on it

I've had the car since Nov 2000, and I think I have figured out what happened...... I bought the car this way, and wasn't really knowledgeable about directional wheels.....
First of all, the wheels are on the wrong side of the car......
The wheels on the front of the car, are stamped with "Install on Rear Only".... I am assuming that these are 9.5 wheels.....
The Wheels on the rear of the car are stamped with the 16 X 8.5 stamp.....
It looks like someone who owned the car prior to me rotated the tires from front to opposite rear..... :confused: :confused:
Now I have to unmount and remount my tires to get them on the correct rims, on the correct side.....
