I'm about to leap into PCM tunning. I'm trying to decide on Tunercat ($70 + $20) or LT1_Edit ($200) . Anyone care to share your experiences with using Tunercat, LT1_Edit or both? Does one program hold a big advantage over the other as in interface or options?
I'm biasing with the Lt1-Edit software. Both Tunercat and Lt-1Edit are great software pieces.
I just find that Lt1Edit is easier to start with as you don't need to enter hard numbers or hex digits. It has a intuitive interface and is great for Vettes.
Note however that TunerCat and Lt1edit can do the same things and once you get use to the Tunercat interface it really makes sense. Also note my experience with Tunercat has been limited.
P.S. If you do decide on LT1Edit then get the expert / professional version. You will be using the advanced features pretty quickly. And with either software be carefull before you risk changing figures that can damage your motor.
I'm curious about this as well since I just got my pocket programmer in the mail and am only in need of one more piece of software to start programming. :seeya
