Default Master Cylinder Warning Switch

!984 has been sitting for 10 years. I have the engine running with replacement of the fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter,Crossfire injectors, spark plugs, cap and rotor. Before I move it I would like to have brakes. Replacing Master cylinder and The warning switch came apart. I have the terminals, spring and the small pointed end cap. This is hard to find locally. Can this piece be replaced as is and work then replaced later?
Thanks
John

Isn't that what warns you that you are low on brake fluid which can be helpful if you have a leak?

The warning switch port has no fluid in it (unless you have an internal leak). You can just leave it open. Probably best to cover the hole with tape or something to keep junk out of it.
