hypertech custom chip

has anyone had a chip custom made from hypertech if so how much did u pay :smash:

Though not a custom I bought a HyperTech Stage II for an '87 Vette on e-bay for $50 and installed it...NADA (same trap speed as with OEM CalPac).

the reason im asking is i just had my motor rebuilt and paid 520.00 4 a "custom chip" 4 the mods i had made 2 the motor just trying 2 see if i got ripped off :smash:

Hypertech is the worst chip you can buy. If you have major mods, like new intake, engine work and all that, then you still shouldnt have paid more than like $300 or so. I do think you got jipped, unless they charged dyno time or somthin in with that.

i didnt get the chip right from hypertech thats what the garage charged me runs pretty good so far i put some miles on the car before the chip was installed i couldnt get on it or it pinged :smash:

just for reference, my chip tuner had my car for a bunch of days, had the pass side seat full of data-logging equipment and dialed the new motor in awesome. That was $750.00.
Hypertech=crap
BTW, anyone wanna buy my old HT chip? :lol:
