Stalling Question?
I just started having a stalling problem. When the engine temperature goes above 200 degrees, the engine runs at 400 to 500 rpm at idle in drive. If I am sitting in traffic the engine stalls if I don't keep the rpm's up by depressing the gas pedal a bit. Any ideas on what could be causing this would be most appreciated. BTW I have an early '86 iron head mostly stock with 102,000 miles on the original engine. Thanks in advance.

Try pulling out your idle air control motor and cleaning it out. Also inspect over the TPS for proper voltage, which i believe is .67 . And as always, check for those annonying vacuum leaks. Good luck
