Hidden plug, inside interior?

Hidden plug, inside interior?
I bought new weatherstiping for my rear hatch. When I installed it, I took all the interior panels off, around the sides, and top. On the passanger side, behind the interior light, I found a black plug. It wasn't connected to anything. It came out right near the plug for the rear defroster. Any ideas what it is? I didn't take pics.

Don't know about that one, but has anyone posted about the extra power wires hidden beneath the cup holder in the later models? It's mentioned in the owner's manual :)

If you are talking about the one on the drive side pillar near the side dome light-- it actually doesn't appear to connect to ANYTHING.

Well, I've been looking in my service manual, and it says its a "CHMSL Jumper Harness Connector (ZR1)". What exactly is that?

That is a power source for the 3rd brake light that is mounted above the rear window.
