My weather station is a Comptech Race Air.

My car is set up for high altitude. If I ran at sealevel, I would need a taller rear end gear, and recheck the tune.

Oh, part 2 of the question. In addition to Jim's answer, it is safe to run from a low altitude to a higher altitude. The motor will run slower and richer. If the car is set up for high altitude and ran down at sea level, the motor could run dangerously lean and kapow!

Exactly, I have no idea where my air/fuel is above 91kpa. That is as high as it reads here. Sealevel guys would see upwords of 107kpa. I would have to tune it before I raced at sealevel.

Gottcha! thanks for that info. I finally found out how to calculate it. It's actually called Density Altitude. Found an app for my droid phone that calculates it. I'm sitting at 777 ft DA right now
