They are a tight fit, but they make specific ones that will fit a C4 perfectly. I did not put these in. Lawton did when he did my new ZZ4. I basically owe him a C4 now!
I put tpi 1 5/8 hedmen headers on my 93. deleted the egr and air pump added the o2 bungs, if I did it again I would buy the 1 3/4 headers .the headers cost 175 the egr block off cost 20 buck and the bungs were 10 bucks. so 205 bucks for headers after the tune I went from 13.6 to 13.05 I say it's worth it

I almost thought about putting all the emissions equipment back on. But, I just couldn't stand the thought of drilling holes for the stupid EGR tube and the AIR bracket. It just didn't seem right.
The pictures above are Hooker TPI headers.
Btw, where did you get your AIR delete. I've seen them around but... the price seems kinda insane for pulley and an aluminum bracket...
And almost a .6 diff on the 1/4! That's pretty damn good for not opening up the motor at all.
Btw, just a little tidbit of info. The headers that came stock on the TPI are pretty much the most restrictive part of the motor. Seriously! When you pull them off, you will see. It's pretty bad. You can go the cheap route and hit up the junk yard and pick up a pair of LT headers. They are WAY better and you can get them for about as as much as their scrap material value. They will bolt on and be ready to go.
