Antenna bypass help
Ive had this harness lying around for awhile. Finally tried to install it today. The directions say to splice into the dark green wire coming from the amplifier relay. I did, no luck. Tried the green and black wire, no luck. What wire do I want???? It shouldnt be this hard. :rolleyes: Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.:)

On my '88 it's the "pink" wire (always cut the pink wire:D).
Without a GM Shop Manual for your year the best bet is to locate the antenna relay to the left rear of the hatch and identify the wire color to be sure.

Yeah, the directions say 88 would be pink. I went and looked again at it. I dont know, I only see 2 green wires. Neither of them are it. :confused:

You'll need to find the pink wire at the radio control head. It should be in postion E on the C1 connector. :cheers:
