Default DIC and interior lights

During my stereo head unit change, I noticed a broken tab on the DIC/switches section above the head unit. So I removed it and got out my epoxy. Pretty sure everything is right again, but my interior lights are not coming on and the security light is not flashing as before with a door open. I made sure the flexible circuit board was making contact with the tabs on the connector. I did see that the board was delaminating a bit. any thoughts? Could I have blown a fuse or something? Thanks.

Check all the fuses and if not them you need to make sure you did not accidentally disconnect a harness. Also, on my year car there is a relay that controls the delay for the interior lights so that might be worth checking out. Could be unrelated to both - bad door switch for example.

I did a similar repair on the DIC when I had to replace a bulb and I do not recall any relationship to the interior lights.

Seems the best thing to do it get the FSM and start trouble shooting.

That was it. I replaced it and things are fine, although the security light no longer flashes. I am surprised that this fuse also seems to control the radio operation overall. With it blown, the radio received no switched power. With it replaced, it functions properly. I followed the previous aftermarket head unit wiring, where the constant power wire was from a pink wire that was not part of the main wiring harness to the stereo (speakers, switched power, ground, antenna control). Electrics are my weakness. I should check the security fuse behind the DIC.
