What duty cycle are chip tuners monitoring during datalogging and what are they looking for. According to my autoXray my duty cycle goes to 100% shortly after WOT. What should I be looking for?
I think ideally you don't want the duty cycle of the injectors to be more than 70% or so. If you're hitting 100% then you need larger injectors or more fuel pressure.
the odd thing is that the plugs look great and while on the dyno she blew alot of black smoke thoughout the run. The duty cycle I'm reffering to is the CCP, its the only duty cycle I've found on my x ray so i'm assuming were talking about the same one. it reads 0 at idle and when you put your foot in it it maxes out at 100.

What Warlock said.... CCP is not the same as injector duty cycle.
CCP will usually only be 0% or 100% I think.... something I don't pay much attention to!
most oem setups force a closing for every cycle. so they will report 100% when the injector isn't really at 100%.
how long the opening/closing cycle takes is injector dependent. this is part of the reason why programming doesn't scale with just corresponding injector size changes in the programming.
