I just ran across this setup, anyone try it? Does it replace the opti?

Still uses the opti decoder in the dist for crank/cam position--that system doesn't use the cap, rotor or plug wires for secondary voltage to fire the plugs any longer. Seems like I remember a thread here a while back and at least one member has converted to that system.
iirc

Been there. Done that. Don't do it.
Think they are out of business anyway. No support last time I checked.

Another option for getting the high voltage out of the Opti is the Bailey LTCC setup. Been using it for years with now issues. Goint to use it on my new Vette engine build.

But can you buy a new LTCC system? Get parts? Support?

Haven't had to speak to him since I got my system so I don't honestly know. Here's the link just e-mail him and see what happens.

It makes for a neat looking install. You'll need to get some coils.

Yes you can.
I have an LTCC box with him right now for repair. I've found he's really good to deal with. I've had some........issues and he has helped a lot.
