i am trying to sell a torque converter to a friend of mine that is stock with 80,000 miles on it. he says he will take it for $75. is that a fair price you guys think? there were no issues when i removed but i dont know i just think that is a bit low...or am i just being dumb and jump on it now?
ok bad choice of words...for the record he is an acquaintance. i ended up just giving it to him to just get rid of the damn thing...plus we ended up drinking all his beer that day so i would say it was worth it

Definitely a give situation, but with a couple of things tacked on.
I would trade the torque converter for a 12 pack of beer and a weekend working on your car. There is always something that needs to be done, and a 2 person team is generally the best way to do things. It's a win-win.

Barter, i heard it was coming back. Heck, here in Kentucky we barter everything but we call it horse tradin'. I'll wire your room addition and you close in my carport. Your wife out of service.......go ahead and use mine. No problems. I'll catch ya' next month for payback.
