Tuner Cat help needed for DA2 Def. file (92 vette)
I am trying to do some programming and don't know what the tables actually represent. I have two main problems. In open loop the car idles too rich. If the car is warm and I start it, it will barely idle until it goes into closed loop. The second problem is, I need more fuel at WOT. Can anyone tell me the tables I need to be most concerned with? I have helped with other cars, but this def. file confuses me.

what version definition file do you have? I've got version C which seems very sparse as far as things to change go......

That's newer than my version!
Anyway, for an idea of what to tune.... look at these links:

They are not specific to your car, but will lead you in the right direction as far as what to tune.
To richen up at WOT you can either increase fuel pressure a bit, or also change the WOT % Change To AFR VS RPM.
Read up on the info and you'll get an idea where to start!

I don't have a WOT table, but I have a PE table. I believe that they are the same.(I think) Basically I don't understand wich table to use. I have a PE %change air/fuel vs rpm table and a PE % change air/fuel vs coolant temp. When does the computer use the respective table?

You didn't say where you are at with the part-throttle tuning of the VE tables.
Have you been through this article, and gotten all the VE BLM's to 128:

If not, the corrected VE tables are where you need to start to get the idle under control. If so, you can move on to playing with spark and start-up enrichment.
