Default Accel plug wires and cap/rotor replacement: Ok?

I was going to go with AC stuff, but the parts guy had this in stock. Accel plug wires 8mm and there cap/rotor button package replacement. Is it good quality or should I return it before I try it out?

I had the Accel 8.8mm on my 89 and they worked great. Also have the cap/rotor that you purchased. No problems.

Good luck!

i cant stand anything accel makes, quality control is just shady, for the price of there wires you could get msd's and as far as the cap pertronix, summit, msd, even gm..make better stuff..i personally like copper contacts :)

almost forgot the most important part, our cars are VERY sensitive to rf and spark loss. i had taylor spiro pros on for awhile. which by the way still beat accel and had some problems with wire cross talk. i basically had to do a great job of routing before it went away. at night i could watch the sparks jump from wire to wire making a lovely miss and even having the car cut out at times driving and sputter. go with gm or msd on the wires..even the msd helicores are great if you need small wires. the sheilding is VERY important.

I've been running the 8.8 Accel wires, cap and rotor for 3 years with excellent results. I've combined them with AC Delco Rapid fire plugs. Great combination.
And my Delco/Bose radio sounds great...excellent RFI supression.

I've had the Accel cap, rotor and coil on for a few months and have not had any problems. I would go with a better set of plug wires though.

I also have the 8.8mm Accel wires and have never had a problem. They've been on my Vette for over 2 years now.

I run TPIS plug wires, Hypertech cap w/coil, and rotor and the Accell distributer modual. No problems after three years. Year round daily driver.

Well the rotor was broken and the wires were a universal fit instead of custom so I returned it all.
Now, I like the 8.8 Accell wires and the MSD 8mm wires. Who has the best prices on a custom set for an L98 with centerbolt heads? I guess I'll order a replacement cap if I dont' go with a Delco / Summit / or Moroso? There are so many choices.
