Seat cushion.....
Hey all,
My drivers side seat cushion is getting some wear on the outside. I would like to swap it with the pass side so it doesnt rip. This way i can start wear on the other one which is barely used. Is there a way to swap just the back cushion? Or do i have to move the whole seat? Thanks for the help.

I just removed the whole passenger seat from my '84 yesterday.
I also removed the foam and leather so my wife can start the
sewing process. It looks to me like you can just remove the
foam top and back. There is a wire on the front of the bottom
cushion, and the bacak has a couple of metal tabs that hold
the back on. I think you can push the back cushion together
about half way up to disengage from the frame.

If you have sport seats, they are also interchangeable. The only difference is you have to remove the covers on the side bolsters first by cutting the hog rings on the inside seam. I suspect that if you had the sport seats it would be the side bolster that is worn and not the seat. Email me if you have the sport seats and I can walk you through it.
