95 OBD reader
What kind of OBD II reader will work on the 95 vette?
I know its really OBD I, but My buddies one won't read, nor will autozone's or advanced auto parts. I could go to my local dealer but figure just get the reader so I have it so I can check the system myself

A OBD2 code reader will not work on the 95 because it is OBD1. You would need a OBD1 reader or a Tech1. Most AutoZone's do not have OBD1 capability especially for the corvette due the fact it has the OBD2 connector but is really OBD1.
The 94 and 95 corvette is a cross or a transition to the OBD2 in 96. You will look long and hard for a reader for the 95 since it is a bit special.
However, you can pull the codes using the on board diagnostics. There is lots of information on the Forum and internet. You can start here.
