Default Datamaster EGR values

What should the EGR look like on a Datamaster or to be more specific is there a direct correlation between how much the EGR is being requested to open vs. spark retard?

Typically the more EGR that is being requested also comes along with more timing. The EGR slows down the combustion process so the factory adds additional timing when the EGR is functional.

Interesting, I think I have an EGR problem I am sorting through now. I get pinging in low RPM low throttle application. And as a general rule watching my datamater as my EGR is requested to open more I am getting more spark retard like it is not working.

I have a new tuned PCM on the way to match my mods as I don't know what the previous owner had done and a new EGR as well. Those of course are the last things I thought to check after going through everything else.
