I was working on my sons 95 yesterday and by the forums suggestion, I was checking the cruise switch at the pedal. Can someone please tell me what color the connector or wires are that are supposed to go to that switch? I looked everywhere, even dropped the column for a clear view under there and couldnt find it. Anyone that may have a pic? Im sure I chose the right switch. Its the one with the vacume hose going to it.
Afraid I can't help with the wires; I am sure I am just being dumb, but I can't see any reason they would run a vacuum line to the pedal switch (are you talking clutch or brake?).

Its mounted on a bracket right next to the brake light switch. A vacume line comes from the cruise servo to the pedal for when you step on the brake to shut the cruise off.
On the '92, the cruise control defeat switch on the brake pedal has one light green and one gray/black wire. If you have a 6-speed, the brake pedal switch has one brown/white in place of the gray/black. This wire goes to the clutch defeat switch, which also has a gray/black wire. Both switches also have vacuum dump valves. The '95 may be the same.
It is a 6 speed. The wires to the brake light switch and the clutch switch seem to be in tact. I cant see any wires or plug that goes to the 2 pins in the cruise switch, just a vacume hose and nothing else.

That is because there are no wires on the vacuum switch. I went thru the same thing on my 95 with an auto trans. Sure looks like something should plug in, but nothing does, all the wiring is on the other switch that also does the brake lights. But even that switch is confusing as it has two separate switches in it, one for lights and the other for cruise.
It is the electric switch that is the cause of cruise failure over 90% of the time.

Well Ill be damned... Im not going crazy!! Cool thanks, Ill replace the brake light switch and see if the cruise returns to normal.
