Just got some new longtube headers. Looking for some header bolts a single piece gasket. What are you guys running? What is the correct size for the bolts? And what am I going to have to do about the AC brackets that go to a couple of the bolts? Spacer?
The length will depend on your header flange. If it's around 3/8" you probably need 1" header bolts. I always use the Earl's Pressure Master gaskets and Percy's split lock header bolts. That's the only way for sure that they won't need re-torqued.

the thickness of the header flange and the gasket you choose may also affect your bolt length selection. I run some soft aluminum gaskets that are pretty thick. I also run stainless steel Percy split lock bolts but they are a bit longer than an inch. I also reused a few of the stock bolts with the use of spacers to remount the accessory brackets.
All this stuff's been done before I recommend doing a "search" here on the CF and look info about header installation and fabricating the associated brackets/spacers.

Used 3/4 bolts on my OBX 3/8 flange, why pay extra for 1'' unless your gaskets are a 1/4" thicker ? Maybe if you have some threads stripped in the head 1" would be better.
