Default 113 Heads

I have a 89 auto and was planning on super ram build with 219 cam. My question are my 113 heads worth getting ported? If yes does anyone know anyone who does this. Thanks

You can but without putting big valves better seats and really cutting them up good its hard to get them to breathe.

You can pickthem up with porting stock valve sizes and a good valve job
dont expect a whole lot though. It will make more than stock no doubt.
If you go this route shoot me a pm

If you really want the car to sing see Jim aka tpi421Vette for some AFRs
To go crazy on your 113s probably be about the same money as a new/better head

I'd love to go 383 but thats not in budget. She'll probably always be a 350 so what size heads should I be looking for. Combustion chamber size preferably cause I don't wanna lose compression. Thanks for your advice and any others.

You can order them in 65cc then have them cut to 58,60 or?
There are a number of different thickness head gaskets out there to help get your compression where you want.

BeachBum and many others have run this combo and is very strong on the street.

Stock intake port size is 163 cfm .Can the intake ports be opened up to flow better. The push rod pinch is pretty narrow on these heads.

The budget deal would be to home port to David Vizard's specs. He lays this out in his book "building max performance Chevy small blocks on a budget".

I am running the 113 heads on my setup.
They seem to be doing a good job.

I would look at patriot heads... Only problem with this route they are 1206 port.. I know on my HSR I had to weld the bottom of the intake to match ports.. pretty sure the super ram will be the same
