6pt rollbar?

Have tried to sit in on many years ago, I'm trying to remember his forum handle (urtoslo I think). It escapes me at the moment. It was a vert with a hard top and was a bolt in.
It was a pain for me (big and tall) to even try to get in it.
The back bars (look at the pic of my relocated battery (below) and you will see what I mean), have a 90 degree bend that connects them to the frame rails. This was done to clear the vert top without having notch the deck lid too much.
The front diagonal sidebars are not swingouts as I wanted maximum stiffness. The guy that fab'd mine built some pedestals off the front inside of the frame rails (near front speakers) so that there wouldnt need to be a bend in the bar to clear the door panels.
As for not having swingouts...heres my take:
Im 32 and in great shape. Even so, I struggle a little getting in and out of it but I do it. Im a pretty skinny guy, but if you are big then you may want the swingout option so they dont 'intrude' on you when using your car for non-racing purposes. These make getting in/out easier.
If I could do it again, Id do it the same and not have swingouts.
For me, they are 100% fine and add to the thrill of firing up the corvette.
Also, my harness bar should be a little higher than it is - if I were to mount 5 points.
Finally, I wish the hoop was a little lower than the windshield header for aesthetics reasons.
Other than those gripes. Its a great setup. The rear view mirror is still useful. vert top goes up/down. Looks good (my wife wrapped/stitched the padding in leather coats from goodwill).

Going with the Exoticle Muscle rollbar, that will be turned into a 6pt.
